"Growing up around Bethany Beach I found an early love for the surf. I spent my summer days working in Bethany Surf Shop's warehouse on Town Road where I printed their shirts and hoodies. Working for the shop taught me the significance of locally owned businesses and apparel. I now spend my summers as a lifeguard on the North Bethany Beach Patrol. I am also a Maryland Realtor serving the beautiful beach town of Ocean City. I have always wanted to stay in the clothing business and it has been a pleasure working alongside Rileigh to find our very own establishment. About Rileigh
"I grew up about a mile from Lewes Beach. My family made sure to never miss our Sunday beach days which was where I found my love for the sand and saltwater. No matter what time of year it is, the beach is the best place to be. I am now a collegiate student athlete at Stockton University and I am studying for a BFA in Graphic Design. I have always had a very creative mind and have dreamed of one day being able to make designs for my own business. Growing up in a small town I have always found it important to support small businesses and make connections with the people who own my favorite small shops all throughout the Delaware beach towns. No matter where I am, I will always love my home town that has given me so much throughout my life which is why we wanted to create locally inspired apparel. Why Rad Apparel?
"As two lifelong Delaware beach locals, we know what it's like to live in Sussex County and be raised by the coast. We started Rad Apparel to promote the things we love most in our small state through quality clothing and express the importance of those who originated here. Each of our products are handcrafted one by one with care. Our brand name originated as R&D, in short of our names. With a similar look, we go by RAD, as commonly used in the surf industry to express good emotion. Help us spread a good feel with Rad Apparel!"
